Meet Your Instructor
Jordan Sparrow
Jordan Sparrow has a degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Kansas and spent two years studying abroad in both Costa Rica and Brazil, learning how to speak both Spanish and Portuguese fluently. After his first trip abroad to Guatemala in 2008, he uncovered a profound personal interest in the history, culture and languages of Latin America. Jordan made Costa Rica his new home and spent more than six years living in San José and traveling to almost every corner of the country in search of a new adventure. During the past ten years, he has worked in the international education world as a Portuguese teacher and study abroad coordinator for more than 20 countries around the world.
